Since the last time I wrote there have been many changes in my life. After a slow decline during the year I lost my Mum at the end of August, it is a strange feeling to not have the person you have never been without, around. We celebrated her life with family and friends and then it was time to continue cutting ties by clearing her home of the family props, that had seen so many gatherings and events. It is a wonderful opportunity to be grateful for all the happy times and shared memories, although sadness is never far behind.
They say everything happens at the right time and it was as I closed the door on an era, I was able to catch up with old friends and family as well as plan for the future. It seems to be a time for parting and moving on as I have met many people who have either lost someone or left them behind and become able to review their life purpose and path.
Time has seemed to speed up more than usual, as so much has been happening.
Raindrop Training Europe has seen Suzanne and I attending the Young Living European Convention in London, visiting Essex to talk to a great group of people from the local Federation of Holistic Therapists and introducing them to the Vitaflex and Raindrop Techniques and Young Living Essential Oils. I was a very successful visit as three people had immediate relief from the oils for tendonitis, muscle strain and shoulder injury. Also the lady who received the Raindrop Technique reported she had energy coursing through her and felt much better after.
Between seeing clients, I managed to visit an old friend in Glasgow where she took me to a Chocolate Making Workshop, which was very informative about the properties of Cocoa and how to use it for health. It also included some very delicious tasting as well! We also did some cultural visits and discovered many beautiful sides to the City.
Whilst at CAM Expo I had entered a raffle and found I had won some fantastic nutritional oils and also booked some discounted massages which have been timely with all the activity and stress. It is so important to make sure you do not lose sight of your own needs and wellbeing when working hard.
As well as giving reflexology, life changing and raindrop treatments, I have been busy training and assessing students who have had great results with their clients using the Vitaflex and Raindrop Techniques. After a trip to Eastbourne to see family and get a breath of sea air, it was straight off to Italy to take Raindrop Training to Europe.
We visited Pordenone and gave 4 workshops which were all very well received and I will be returning in February to do an evening of Meditation with Essential Oils and run a weekend course in Raindrop and Vitaflex, followed by a return Assessment and Emotional Release 1 workshop in May.
After returning to the UK after a couple of wonderful days in Venice, Suzanne and I gave the first Emotional Release 1 Training Day to 3 enthusiastic students before exhibiting at The Mystic & Holistic Show at Kempton Park. Again we met many lovely people and have a list of interested people for courses next year.
Before I take a good rest over the holiday season we have a residential training in Spain in December and I am looking forward to meeting some more people who are keen to change to a healthier and toxic free lifestyle using the Young Living 100% pure oils and learning how to apply them to greatest effect. Before returning to the UK for Christmas, we are giving our Healing Oils of the Bible Workshop and sharing the benefits of Frankincense and Myrrh amongst others. It will be lovely to have some sunshine before Winter finally sets in.
The next London Raindrop & Vitaflex Training is taking place on 31st January and 1st February. If you are interested in training or using the oils for personal or professional use, please contact me. It will be a great start to 2015 learning a new skill and raising your energy and wellbeing. Whether for your own interest, caring for your family or using in your practice all are welcome to our accredited and insurable courses.
A very Happy Christmas and wonderful 2015 to everyone!
